The Birthday Party
One of the curious things about the Blogs (and there are many) is that they were all born on the same day and will inevitably reach the elder stage of life on the same day. That day has finally come and the family are reunited for the birthday ceremony.
I find the whole process rather disturbing. Neil doesn't look at all worried but Emma looks aghast at the cakes, shocked that her birthday has come around so soon. Where did the time go?

You and your housemates have some time to go before you become elderly but yes,it is inevitable. Adult sims can fall foul of a number of fatal events and diseases including being scared to death by a ghost. Their lives can be extended by taking an elixir but it's very difficult to get hold of in Blog world.
Once they reach the elderly stage they have an indeterminate time to live dependent on how they have fulfilled their aspirations at each stage of life. It looks like marrying Tres could turn you platinum!
