Better Late Than Never

When Creepy Lesbo and Emma got married, they talked about having children but they didn't feel ready to undergo the rigorous adoption proceedures. What if they failed the test?

I happened to mention that I had heard of an experimental project enabling couples to have their own babies by a revolutionary new cloning method. The doctors running the project were asking for volunteer donors to donate cells for cloning.

Creepy was thrilled when she heard that they could combine the DNA of two people to create a baby that would share both its parents' genes. Creepy, Emma and Miss Fluffy all made donations and were told that they would be informed if they were slected. It was still a very experimental proceedure- there were no guarantees and it could be a very long process.

Growing babies in a synthetic womb was and still is very controversial, even in the Blog world but more recent discoveries has made the process much safer.

After many Blog years, the women gave up hope of ever hearing anyting. So when Creepy and Emma opened the letter asking them to come and collect their new baby, they were shocked, but delighted. Miss Fluffy got her letter the next day. The doctor had combined her own DNA with Miss Fluffy's to create a lovely baby girl.

The new mothers went along to the clinic for a quick health check before they received their children. The counsellor warned them that there were a few differences between theirs and normal sim babies. The main difference was their accelerated rate of development. Blink and they're grown!

Better make the most of those precious baby minutes.
