Ashes

I had a couple of strange garbled phone calls from The Old Blogs Home that oddly sounded like prank calls- kids messing about. I called back but no one answered so I went round to investigate. I was stunned by what I found. I still can't believe it.
I wondered around the empty house. There was a eerie silence and a awful smell of burning. No one to be found. Just piles of dust.
