Blog Street

The teen Blogs have been getting restless. They are very close to flying the nest now. College beckons and they're keen to have some independence. That's something I can well understand, which is why I've been looking round for some suitable student accomadation to develop.

I found a whole row of tatty looking, but basically sound terrace houses going - on Blog Street of all places. Ideal!

Nelly (Neil's daughter) was keen to move in straight away but I was a bit unsure. After her mother died, I've always felt very protective towards her. It's hard to let children grow up. But when I refused her, she cried- and well, I'm a sucker for that. I said she could move in as long as Kendal came with her. Kendal, Keith and David's adopted daughter is a wee bit older and more streetwise.

They moved in and have been getting along just fine. They are keeping up with their work and learning to cook and clean. We're all very proud of them.

What a find!

Nelly knows I will cave in to emotional blackmail.

Kendal is keeping up with her studies.

They're managing to feed themselves.

Nelly is a very conscientious girl. She'll go far

Birthday Blogs

The Blog toddlers are growing very very quickly. The whole household dotes on them but the old fogies are finding it hard to keep pace now. Transition into childhood came super early and teenage is just around the corner. The kids are taking over!

Neil has been teaching Ian his first words.

Another little one learns to talk.

Miss Fluffy- your toddler is nameless still. Would you like to choose?

Creepy takes Ian to blow out his candles. Childhood awaits... very briefly.

Celebrations- as usual, the cake is my priority.

A rare glimpse of the teenage Nelly. She almost lost contact with Neil after her mother, Claire, died a death by sofa. Now she's older she wants to get to know her dad properly.

Pig Post

Time to catch up with what's been going on in The Sty.

Francesco and I decided it was time for us to make babies before he pegs it. I say babies, but I was as surprised as anyone when I produced twins- especially these twins!

It seems that one of us must have some alien ancestry. Francesco has no recollection of it being mentioned in his family and I'm not aware of any alien experiences in my own... but hey... it's a funny old world.

We love them both to bits. Francesca is the spitting image of her dad don't you think? And Jupiter... well, who knows but then again, who cares? They've recently started school and are doing very well.

Can you tell it's twins?

Francesco and Francesca.

Isn't he cute.

My darling Jupiter.

Our beautiful Francesca.
